As companies migrate to cloud computing, hyperscalers like Microsoft, AWS and Google are expecting annual revenues to grow by at least 30% through to 2025 and beyond. Considering that the hyperscalers adopt a pay-per-use model, companies are confronted with a gradual, month-on-month increase of their cloud consumption invoice with no end in sight.

Gartner claims that, organizations that lack appropriate cloud cost optimization processes, are overspending by about 40%. Cloud Economics should therefore be front and center of every enterprise's IT strategy, but unfortunately it isn't. The obvious reason is that, for most organizations, their cloud economics maturity level is low. In this webinar will review more specifically why Cloud Economics is becoming a headache for many organizations.

The direct response to the stimulus of cloud is cloud financial management, called 'Cloud FinOps'. FinOps is the practice of bringing financial accountability to the variable spend model of cloud, enabling businesses to make trade-offs between speed, cost and quality. This webinar will dive deeper into the process of creating a Cloud FinOps culture and maximize the value of cloud.
