ICCS in partnership with RSA Asia will host a webinar session that will cover the geo-economics of Asia and the Pacific regions.
Participants will learn about who are the key players in every region: Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.
The discussion will, afterward, focus on the different regional economic partnerships, with the aim of understanding the trade agreements in effect: FTAs, TPP and the new RCEP agreement. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement is a trade pact between the 10-member ASEAN bloc, along with China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
The RCEP agreement includes 20 chapters, over 513 pages which makes it the lengthiest free trade agreement signed by China to date.

Tax Advisor and Certified Public Accountant specialized in international taxation at IBFD Kuala Lumpur, PhD researcher in Asian tax at Shanghai University. He is based in Shanghai, where he focuses on business and tax law, assisting foreign investments in China and East Asia. He is an auditor and an advisor for several corporate groups and he is partner and Head of Tax of the consulting firm RSA, specializing in Asia and emerging countries.
