Cynthia is the Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Venuerific, the largest event venue marketplace in Southeast Asia with a vision to disrupt the events industry by using technology to simplify the way people search, discover, and book unique event spaces since 2013.

Started in Singapore as an event venues marketplace, Venuerific has now evolved into a full-fledged smart CRM software for event venue management. Today, it is the only events CRM solution that has been pre-approved by the Singapore government for PSG (Productivity Solutions Grant) which comes with a 80% support fund for any new venue that wants to list with Venuerific.

The pandemic presented difficult challenges for not only Venuerific but also for the entire events industry. Events were put on hold full-stop without a hint of not knowing when regulations will change and things will get better. The future seemed dim for the whole industry but we were persistent throughout and emerge stronger while also helping other spaces in Singapore who needed the help more than ever before.

Best Haputpong is the VP of Business Development at igloocompany, the leading access management company that creates smart locks and lockboxes for the easy management of
homes, properties, and infrastructure.

Best has been with igloohome since 2016, and is responsible for regional expansion initiatives including setting up new distribution networks, driving B2B sales, and representing igloohome at related events.

Since launching its first product in 2016, igloohome locks have been rolled out to over 100 countries supported by 130 distributors worldwide. The company today has partnered up with global home sharing platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com, and large realtors networks such as the National Association of Realtors in the U.S, with over 1.4 million registered realtors.
In Asia, Best has played a pivotal role in the company's collaborations with many top property developers such as Sansiri in Thailand, Mitsuibishi in Japan and CapitaLand in Vietnam to bring about smarter living for their residences.

Her previous experiences include Business Strategy and IT Consultancy at IBM and e-Commerce Product Management at HSBC. She graduated with a BSc in Economics and Law
from Singapore Management University (SMU).

Sean is a serial tech entrepreneur from the US. Since arriving in Asia in 2008, Sean has founded, co-founded, or advised over a dozen startups from inception that have contributed to the creation of over $6 billion in tech-venture value in the Asia-Pacific. Over US$250 million in funding has been raised during his tenure as CEO, MD, and/or Founding CTO for these companies.

In 2011, Sean built the first major competitor to AirBNB in China from zero-to-one in under 8 months, covering 20+ cities, over 50,000 bookable properties, and 10s of thousands in nights booked. This startup, Airizu, pioneered the disruptive sharing-economy business model in China and sparked the rise of O2O throughout the region, including future unicorn Tujia. As Managing Director and CTO at Rocket Internet China, Sean built a tech development powerhouse that launched and supported dozens of fast-scaling Internet ventures globally, including the Southeast Asia market leaders Lazada and Zalora.

Sean is currently founder and CEO at Imaginato, a leading tech innovation partner, as well as co-founder of Qraved, a leading food discovery platform in Indonesia. He recently launched JetDevs, a subscription platform for on-demand remote software developers. Sean was a Computer Science and Electrical Engineering major at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Karl Loo is the Co-Founder and CEO of ServisHero, a leading online marketplace for local services in Southeast Asia operating in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. With ServisHero, consumers are able to order cleaners, aircon technicians, handymen and more from the tap of an app. ServisHero also powers service capability for numerous Fortune 500 companies in the region as an enterprise solution.

In 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, he led ServisHero to respond to the rising infection-rates by setting up Disinfection2u.com - a unit that mobilised the group’s distributed workforce to deliver essential virus-containment services across Southeast Asia and several new non-SEA markets.

Karl is a serial entrepreneur, with career experience spanning four continents. He was a founding employee, and regional Director for Groupon China from 2010. In early 2014, his South African ecommerce businesses (online furniture, fashion and mothercare) were fully acquired by Naspers (Africa’s largest media company).

Prior to returning to Malaysia in 2015, Karl set up the Silicon Valley offices for Y-Combinator company (W14), Memebox.com.
Karl received his undergraduate law and business degrees from the University of Auckland; and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
